It took me five years to write my first book. It took me four months to finish it. The difference is a magic formula I discovered, which is now the core of my book coaching philosophy and practice.
Sharing everything I’ve learned in my author journey—in addition to 25+ years as a journalist, writer, editor, content strategist, and personal development and transformational leadership coach—I help authors finish their book so they can get their story and message out into the world.
Through one-on-one mentorship, feedback and accountability, I help writers start and finish their book. My clients are primarily experts, speakers, coaches and thought leaders who are looking to share their life story and knowledge to inspire and empower others. AND I’m happy to get fellow fiction authors to first draft using my combination of craft and leadership coaching.
As your book coach, I make the process effortless and fun, so that the journey is as fulfilling as the finished product. I’ll give you space to play and explore, while holding you to your goals and timelines. I’ll share whatever writing tips and tools I think will support you in the moment, so that you don’t get overwhelmed or waste time worrying about whether you’re doing any of it right. And once you have a completed first draft, I’ll edit and polish your manuscript until you have a book that we’re both excited to share.
I’ll walk you right up to the finish line—whether that’s querying agents and publishers, or supporting you through the self-publishing process to help make your book a success. Through it all, I’ll explore author brand and marketing strategies to help you create the most buzz around your book, and to help you reach the results you’re looking for in your business and your mission.
I have a few ways that I support authors, including my Accelerator Book Development Program for authors looking to publish or submit their book to publishers within the year. I also offer 1-1 coaching packages, for those looking to take more time with their book :) AND I have a book publishing membership program where authors can be part of a writing community and participate in group Masterminds to help them move their book forward.
